Remember how Pete just wants to return the BNP to the state JT left it in? Back to the constitution he drafted, and all that? Let's see what Pete Barker really thought of John Tyndall.
"Nationalist legend John Tyndall now supports the so-called UK Nationalist Alliance. Tyndall has committed suicide here. The UK Nationalist Alliance is controlled by a secretive group of people including; Mark Cotterill (with loads of money), Peter Rushton (ex-South African security services), Eddy Morrison (alcoholic "neo"), John Wood (ditto), Simon Sheppard (mysoginist).
The public face of the UK NA is totally different to the 'real runners' of the NA, and Tyndall made mention of that in an e-mail to me. I will post it. Mr. Tyndall is over 70 now. He will never ever re-take the BNP. But I will pose the question. I have 'heard on the grapevine' that Griffin and Tyndall have been in contact with each other throughout this time since 1999 when Griffin took the BNP away.
I also believe that Nick Griffin has been in total communication with Mark Cotterill throughout their so called 'falling - out' period. Has the British nationalist movement been 'suckered' by these two? In early 1999, Scotland Yard Police Cmdr Grieve said "they would destroy the nationalist movement in the UK".(London -Daily Express) Within months of Grieves report, Griffin got elected to leader of the BNP. Now the UK Nationalist movement is on it's arse. As an ex-forces bod, this wasn't just happenstance. IT WAS PLANNED! This message from Tyndall to me:
PETE:- In three e-mails you have raised one or two points... First, I have every sympathy with people who have been invalided out of the forces because of some condition like your late brother. What I am strongly against is the featuring in a party political broadcast of a person like that one used in the recent BNP broadcast. This sends out all the wrong signals.
The man in question may have good reasons for his depressed state. The viewing audience, however, will not know this and will simply identify him as a down-and-out and loser. Is this the image the BNP wants to convey of
its own members? Regarding the comments of John Wood, I think that John has missed the point. Even if he is right in his contention that I have no chance of retaking the BNP (which he could be), it does not make any difference to my attitude towards the party. It is the ONLY practical vehicle for our beliefs. Any alternative venture is a waste of time, money and effort, and it is sad
that excellent people like Sharon and Steve S. should allow themselves to be roped into it.
Eventually, Griffin will dig his own grave politically and will be replaced by someone else. No one can say when this will be. It might be at a time when I am too old and infirm to do the job myself, but someone will replace him, if not I. I have a feeling, however, looking at certain things that are happening in the party, that this may occur much sooner than many imagine.
With regard to the person who is the main driving force behind the NA, it is neither of the two people you mention. However, right at this moment I am making it a policy to keep on cordial terms with EVERYBODY concerned, and I do not want to go bandying names about which could jeopardise this. I might just be wrong anyway, though I don't think so.
Tyndall might have mentioned he wanted to keep in friendly terms with all nationalists. He doesn't really mean that. Mr Tyndall went 'bonkers' after this e-mail with me. Mr. Tyndall is very selfish and vain you see."
